Our 2026 Summer Reading Program "Plant a Seed, Read" kicked off on June 15! If you are looking for something to do over the summer, the library has you covered!
Bring your excess seeds to the library to trade! Please bring seeds in an enclosed, spill-proof, clearly labeled container. Small envelopes will be available for separating seeds to take home.
Calling al teens! Using colorful wool and a special barbed needle teens will sculpt a fun green carnivorous plant complete with fangs and a bright red tongue, all rooted in a real terra-cotta pot. For grades 6 and up. An art educator from Pop Up Arts School will lead this program.
Learn all about bees from Drumlin Farm's Beekeeper Mel Gadd.He will share bee facts and stories, and kids will be able to look at the live bees in his observation hive!

Joy from Joys of Nature will bring live reptiles to the Hannah Williams Playground and teach kids about these amazing creatures.
